The UAE supports the Afghan people through large agricultural projects

The UAE has provided the Afghan people with support through agricultural projects that can be used in the future for foreign export.One of the most important of these projects is the Petrica Canal, where farmers used fuel water pumps to pump water from the Helmand River to some farms

Before the establishment of the canal, farmers in the region depended on agriculture only once in the winter due to water problems, but now they have water, which has led to increased production by farmers, who harvested winter and spring crops and now they harvest summer and autumn crops.

(Wheat - barley - opium) was planted in the winter, and vegetables and fruits such as (okra - eggplant - cucumbers - tomatoes - pumpkin - corn - watermelon - cotton - peanuts - sunflowers) are now being cultivated.
